SGLA is a nonprofit, non-stock corporation incorporated under Chapter 181 of the Wisconsin Statutes and federally authorized pursuant to 501(c)(3) regulations.
Mission:
Our mission is the preservation and protection of the natural resources of Shishebogama and Gunlock Lakes and their surroundings, as general public recreational facilities, through monitoring and maintenance of its waters, shorelands, wetlands and fisheries. We further align ourselves with all governing bodies related to the protection of our lakes. We also foster positive communication and camaraderie within the membership for the enjoyment of our lake community.
