We seek to preserve and protect the natural resources of Shishebogama and Gunlock Lakes and their surroundings as public recreational facilities, through monitoring and maintenance of their waters, shorelines, wetlands, and fisheries.

Attention Anglers! On February 12 from 6 to 8 pm there is an in-person/virtual seminar on “35 years of fisheries management in Wisconsin’s ceded territory” This seminar will explain the rights of Wisconsin Ojibwe tribes to hunt, fish and gather on lands ceded to the federal government and how the tribal organizations and the DNR have worked cooperatively to conserve and manage fisheries in these territories.
